By accessing The Platform (delvern.ca) or engaging in Proactive Service Coordination, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

To provide “Safe, Vetted, and Verified” coordination, we collect the following categories of information:

  • Identity & Contact Data:Full name, property address, billing address, email address, and telephone number.
  • Service & Property Data:Details regarding home systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical), property age, and specific repair histories provided during intake.
  • Voice & Communication Data:Audio recordings and transcripts from our Voice AI intake system and recorded customer service lines, used to ensure accuracy in “Proactive Service Coordination.”
  • Technical & Geolocation Data:IP addresses, browser types, and real-time GPS coordinates (for Service Professionals) to facilitate “Live ETA” tracking and On-Site verification.
  • Financial Data:Masked payment card details and transaction histories processed through our secure, PCI-compliant third-party processors (e.g., Stripe).

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your data strictly for functional and protective purposes:

  • Coordination:To match Clients with the most qualified Service Professional for their specific postal code and trade requirement.
  • Verification:To perform “100% Background Screening” and credential validation.
  • Transparency:To provide “Managed Dispatch” updates and “Live ETA” notifications.
  • Dispute Resolution:Using Voice AI transcripts and GPS logs to mediate “Disagreements with Diagnosis” through our Resolution Portal.
  • Security:To detect and prevent fraudulent bookings or “off-platform” solicitation.

4. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

Delvern does not sell your personal information. We disclose information only as follows:

  • To Service Professionals:We share the Client’s name, address, and project details with the assigned technician to facilitate the On-Site visit.
  • Legal Compliance:When required by Ontario or Canadian federal law, or to protect the safety and “Constitutional Rights” of our users.
  • Business Transfers:In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where customer data is a transferred business asset.

5. DATA RETENTION AND SECURITY

  • Security:We employ industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) for all data in transit and at rest. Access to the Delvern database is restricted to authorized administrative personnel only.
  • Retention:We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the coordination service and to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements (typically 7 years for financial records).
